Match-Trade integration

Match-Trade Integration for Forex Brokers and Prop Firms

Connect the Match-Trade bridge to your MT5 server, add the Match-Trader platform next to MetaTrader, or both. We plan, configure, test and support the integration on the broker side.

Match-Trade integration explained: Match-Trader platform vs the MT4/MT5 bridge, MT5 connectivity, APIs, setup steps, testing and support for forex brokers.

Short answer: A Match-Trade integration connects Match-Trade Technologies products to a brokerage stack. Usually that means one of two jobs: linking the Match-Trade Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS to your MT5 server and liquidity providers, or running the Match-Trader platform alone or next to MetaTrader 5, with shared CRM, liquidity and reporting.

What does "Match-Trade integration" actually mean?

"Match-Trade integration" covers two different product families from one vendor: the Match-Trader trading platform and the Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS (bridge plus liquidity aggregator). Before you scope the project, decide which one you are integrating. The work and risks differ.

Match-Trade Technologies LLC is a software company incorporated in Delaware, USA. On its own website it says it is not a broker and does not hold client funds. Its product list (match-trade.com, accessed 8 October 2026) also includes a Client Office with CRM, social/copy trading, and liquidity and data feeds. The table separates the products that matter for integration.

Most brokers here already run MetaTrader 5 and want a different bridge or a second platform. For how bridges work in general, see forex bridge solutions.

How does the Match-Trade bridge connect to MT5?

The Match-Trade Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS sits between your MetaTrader server and FIX liquidity providers: it aggregates prices, routes orders by A-Book/B-Book rules and reports exposure. Match-Trade says the bridge connects without a plugin on the MetaTrader server.

"…seamless connectivity to multiple FIX-compliant Liquidity Providers: LMAX, CFH, Currenex and many more. No plugin installation on MT4 Server needed"— Match-Trade Technologies, Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS (accessed October 2026)

On MT5 the usual way to connect an external execution venue is a gateway. MetaQuotes describes the MT5 Gateway API as the interface "used for MetaTrader 5 integration with other trading systems and creation of custom data feeds". A MetaQuotes news item dated 2 November 2017 lists "Full integration with MetaTrader 5 Gateway and liquidity aggregator" among Match-Trade's MT5 products.

The bridge product page (last modified 24 June 2025, accessed 8 October 2026) lists these features:

  • Multiple LP connection: aggregate several price streams and manage hedge settings in real time.
  • Risk management: risk settings at account or group level. You can hedge specific groups, accounts or instruments, or only a percentage of them.
  • Hedge Monitor: compare hedged exposure on MT4/MT5 against the LP accounts and the B-Book exposure.
  • Bridge Manager: a web application for A-Book and B-Book groups, plus data-feed controls (min/max spreads, price multipliers, order book modifications).
  • Execution: best bid/offer aggregation, VWAP execution for B-Book trades, and order book streaming to the MT5 server.

On pricing, the page says the bridge is "available at a simple flat fee" with "no turnover-based fees". It also says brokers can use the bridge for free if they connect to Match-Trade's recommended liquidity providers. No amounts are published, so compare written quotes on the same volume assumptions.

What is the Match-Trader platform and how does it relate to MetaTrader 5?

Match-Trader is Match-Trade's own multi-asset trading platform. It is a separate system from MetaTrader. Brokers run it as their only platform, add it next to MT5, or (since February 2026) use its prop backend to manage MT5 accounts.

Match-Trade's pages (accessed 8 October 2026) state:

  • Adoption: match-trader.com/brokers/ (modified 7 October 2026) describes Match-Trader as "used by 200+ registered Forex brokers and prop trading firms".
  • Delivery: the platform is a progressive web app that can also be published as a branded app in the stores. Two offerings are described: White Label and a broker's own server (Server Licence).
  • Capacity: the Server Licence page (modified 29 October 2025) says the server's capacity was confirmed "by having 100k accounts on our own server".
  • Charts: built-in TradingView charts plus in-house charts.
  • Ecosystem: a Client Office with CRM, a multi-level IB module, Praxis Cashier (300+ PSPs) and KYC providers. SumSub is named, and Ondato was added in February 2026.

For MetaTrader brokers, the key 2026 change is the February release:

"This release marks a major milestone for the Match-Trader Prop Trading platform: our proprietary backend is now fully integrated with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) through a dedicated connector and service architecture."— Match-Trader, February Release, published 17 February 2026 (accessed October 2026)

According to the same release, the connector covers the whole prop lifecycle on MT5 accounts: account creation and blocking, equity calculation, challenge and competition management, trading restrictions and breach logic. One backend now serves Match-Trader and MT5 accounts.

MetaQuotes states that "The MetaTrader 4 trading platform licenses are no longer available for purchase", and it sells MT5 licences in Entry (1,000), Standard (25,000) and Enterprise (200,000) real-account tiers. Match-Trade markets its Match-Trader White Label as an alternative for brokers who cannot get an MT4 white label. Still on MT4? Our MT4 to MT5 migration can be planned together with a Match-Trader rollout.

Which Match-Trade integration architecture fits your brokerage?

Most projects fall into one of five patterns. The right one keeps a single source of truth for accounts and for exposure, with as few hand-offs as possible.

Common Match-Trade integration patterns
ScenarioComponentsMain integration workMain risk to control
A. MT5 broker replacing or adding a bridgeOwn MT5 server + Match-Trade bridge + existing LPsGateway connection, symbol mapping, group routing, hedge rules, LP FIX sessionsMismatched contract sizes or digits; unhedged exposure during switch-over
B. MT5 broker adding Match-Trader as a second platformMT5 + Match-Trader server or WL + shared CRM + shared or separate liquidityCRM connectors for both platforms, consistent offers/groups, reporting across platformsDifferent spreads/swaps per platform; duplicated client records
C. Prop firm running MT5 accounts via Match-Trader PropMatch-Trader Prop backend + MT5 connector + Prop CRMChallenge rules, account lifecycle on MT5, KYC, payouts, abuse rulesBreach logic and equity calculations that do not match MT5 data
D. Match-Trader with a third-party bridgeMatch-Trader + another bridge (Match-Trade announced a Centroid Bridge integration on 8 May 2023)Bridge configuration, routing rules on both sidesTwo places to change routing; responsibility gaps
E. New brokerage on Match-Trader onlyMatch-Trader WL or server + Client Office/CRM + liquidityBranding, offers, payments, KYC, liquidity, data feedsLaunching before testing and reconciliation are complete

In scenario B, decide early which CRM is the master. Match-Trade has its own Client Office and CRM; third-party CRMs such as B2BROKER's B2CORE and FX Back Office document Match-Trader connectors. See forex CRM solutions.

In scenario A, the liquidity side is the same job as any other LP onboarding. FIX sessions, symbols, hours and margin terms must agree; see liquidity provider integration and FIX API integration.

How do we integrate Match-Trade step by step?

A safe integration has eight steps: agree scope, mirror your trading conditions, connect in test, prove that prices, orders and exposure reconcile, then move live groups in stages.

  1. Discovery and inventory. We document your MT5 (or MT4) server build, groups, symbols, gateways, plugins, LP contracts, CRM and reporting.
  2. Target design. Choose the pattern (A–E above), the routing model (A-Book, B-Book or hybrid by group, account or instrument) and the master system for clients and balances.
  3. Symbol and group mapping. Build a mapping sheet covering MetaTrader symbol to bridge symbol to LP symbol, with contract size, digits, swaps, sessions, margin currency and markups.
  4. Connectivity. Set up the MT5 gateway connection to the bridge, the FIX price and order sessions to each LP, firewall rules and IP whitelisting.
  5. Configuration in the test environment. Load routing and hedge rules, spread limits and price multipliers in Bridge Manager. Then check MT5 group settings so that execution mode and price filters match the bridge.
  6. Testing. Test every order type on key symbols, plus rejects, partial fills, LP disconnect and reconnect, a weekend gap and a daylight-saving session change. Then reconcile MT5 deals against bridge reports and LP statements.
  7. Staged go-live. Move one low-volume group first, watch exposure in Hedge Monitor and MT5, then move the rest of the groups. Keep a written rollback plan to your previous route.
  8. Ongoing operations. Daily checks of logs, LP sessions and reconciliation, plus end-of-day risk reports, holiday and DST schedule checks, and changes when you add LPs or instruments.

Match-Trade advertises launching a brokerage or prop firm on Match-Trader "in just 1 week". Broker-side work (remapping MT5 groups, reconciling LPs, connecting a non-Match-Trade CRM) depends on your number of groups, symbols and LPs, so we estimate it after discovery.

Which Match-Trader API should you use?

Match-Trader has separate APIs for traders, brokers and server operators; choose by who calls the API and what it changes.

"We provide access to all available APIs, including the Manager API, Admin API, Backoffice API, Match-Trader API, Candle API, Websocket API, and FIX API."— Match-Trade Technologies, Match-Trader Server Licence (accessed October 2026)

If you searched for "matchtrader api" as a developer, start with Match-Trade's technical documentation page. It links to the Platform API reference. Brokers mostly use the Broker API or Manager API to sync accounts, deposits and reports with a CRM. For MetaTrader-side connectors see MetaTrader API integration page.

On 6 October 2026 Match-Trader announced "Match-Trader MCP for Traders", a remote Model Context Protocol server connecting trading accounts to AI assistants. Review it against your security policy like any other API access.

What goes wrong in Match-Trade integrations, and how do you check it?

Most problems are not software bugs but configuration that differs between systems: symbols, sessions, routing rules or balances. A checklist run before and after go-live catches most of them.

Common integration issues and checks
IssueTypical symptomWhat to check
Symbol mapping errorOrders rejected or filled at wrong sizeContract size, digits, lot step and suffixes in MT5, bridge and LP
Session or DST mismatchQuotes stop, or trading opens before the LP accepts ordersTrading sessions in MT5 vs LP schedule, especially in DST and holiday weeks
Routing rule overlapA group meant for A-Book is partly B-BookedRule order and patterns in Bridge Manager; Match-Trader's Account Rules tab shows routing, hedge and abuse rules per account
Hedge ratio driftExposure in Hedge Monitor does not match the planPercentage hedge settings by group, instrument and account
Reconciliation breaksBridge report, MT5 deals and LP statement disagreeDaily three-way reconciliation by deal ID, volume and price
Duplicate clients across platformsOne person with two CRM profilesCRM master rule, unique IDs, single sign-on settings
Migration data errorsWrong balances or positions after moving accountsExport/import format; Match-Trade's February 2026 release added import-ready exports for Manager 2.0

Infrastructure

Servers in the UK and the Netherlands, monitoring with a 99.9% uptime target, and DDoS and security hardening. See MetaTrader server hosting.

Prop firms

Prop-trading platform setup, challenge rules on MT5, and copy trading or MAM/PAMM where needed. See MAM/PAMM setup.

Match-Trade also offers MT4/MT5 hosting and describes 24/7 support via messengers. If you use it, we work alongside its team on the parts you keep in-house, with a written split of who changes which setting.

Cost depends on the products you license, the number of LPs, symbols and MT5 groups, your CRM, the testing scope and ongoing monitoring. Match-Trade's published bridge terms are "a simple flat fee" with "no turnover-based fees", and free use with its recommended LPs. FXSUPPORT does not publish prices. We quote after the free technical review.

How do you choose between the Match-Trade bridge and other bridges?

Choose a bridge with your own data: compare execution, the risk tools you will use, LP support, fee model and support, with the same test for every candidate.

  • LP coverage: check that your current and planned LPs are supported. Match-Trade names LMAX, CFH and Currenex among FIX-compliant LPs.
  • Risk granularity: can you hedge by group, account and instrument, and by percentage? Is there exposure monitoring against LP accounts?
  • Fee model: flat fee vs volume-based fees, and what changes if you leave the recommended LPs.
  • MT5 footprint: gateway versus plugin, and what has to be installed or changed on your MT5 server.
  • Exit plan: how quickly can you route back to another bridge if needed?

We also integrate PrimeXM XCore and oneZero Hub. The fairest comparison is a parallel test on low-volume groups, comparing fills, rejects and slippage. Still choosing between your own MT5 server and a white label? See MetaTrader white label and forex broker solutions.

Frequently asked questions

Is Match-Trade a bridge or a trading platform?
It is both, as separate products. Match-Trade Technologies sells the Match-Trader trading platform (white label, own server and prop versions) and a separate Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS that connects MetaTrader servers to FIX liquidity providers.
Can I use the Match-Trade bridge with my own MT5 server?
Yes. The product is called Bridge MT4/MT5 with RMS, and Match-Trade's white label page says A-Book and B-Book execution through its bridge applies to MT4/MT5 platforms hosted on your own server infrastructure.
Does the Match-Trade bridge need a plugin on the MetaTrader server?
Match-Trade's bridge page states "No plugin installation on MT4 Server needed". On MT5, external venues are normally connected through a gateway, which MetaQuotes describes as the Gateway API for integration with other trading systems. Confirm the exact components for your build with the vendor before you plan downtime.
Which liquidity providers work with the Match-Trade bridge?
Match-Trade says the bridge connects to multiple FIX-compliant liquidity providers and names LMAX, CFH and Currenex "and many more". Test every LP session before go-live.
Can I run Match-Trader and MetaTrader 5 at the same time?
Yes. The work is keeping trading conditions consistent and choosing one master CRM. For prop firms, Match-Trade's February 2026 release lets one Match-Trader Prop backend manage both Match-Trader and MT5 accounts.
What changed in Match-Trader's MT5 integration in 2026?
On 17 February 2026 Match-Trade announced that its prop trading backend is fully integrated with MT5 through a dedicated connector. It covers account creation and blocking, equity calculation, challenges, trading restrictions and breach logic for MT5 accounts.
What APIs does Match-Trader offer?
For the Server Licence, Match-Trade lists the Manager API, Admin API, Backoffice API, Match-Trader API, Candle API, WebSocket API and FIX API. The Broker API supports REST and gRPC. The Platform API uses REST plus WebSocket with STOMP for market data.
How do I move MT4 clients to Match-Trader?
If you are a trader, contact your broker; Match-Trade says account migrations are handled by the broker. Brokers should plan a migration project: map groups and symbols, export and import accounts and balances, run both platforms in parallel, and reconcile.
How long does a Match-Trade integration take?
Match-Trade advertises launching a brokerage or prop firm on Match-Trader in about one week on its side. Broker-side work depends on the number of MT5 groups, symbols, LPs and CRM connectors, so we give an estimate after reviewing your setup.
How much does Match-Trade integration cost?
Match-Trade does not publish amounts. Its bridge page describes a flat fee with no turnover-based fees, and free use when connected to recommended LPs. FXSUPPORT quotes after a free technical review.
Who supports what after go-live?
Match-Trade supports its own products. FXSUPPORT can handle broker-side operations: MetaTrader administration, LP session monitoring, reconciliation, risk reports, plugins and CRM integrations. The split is agreed in writing before work starts.
