What is oneZero Hub?
oneZero Hub is a Software-as-a-Service pricing and risk management system that sits between a broker's trading platform and its liquidity providers (LPs). It builds prices from several LP streams, applies spreads and markups, decides whether client orders are hedged externally or kept in-house, and records quote and trade data for analysis.
oneZero describes the product in its own words as follows:
"Our Hubs are robust Software-as-a-Service price and risk management systems. Designed for scalability, security and reliability, our technology enables the seamless management and routing of tens of millions of trades daily by hundreds of clients around the globe."— oneZero, Hub Technology (accessed October 2026)
Three facts from oneZero's own site matter most for an integration plan:
- It is hosted, not installed on your server. oneZero states that "each Hub is a dedicated, hosted instance" and offers co-location options in the NY4, LD4 and TY3 data centres (Hub Technology page, accessed 8 October 2026).
- It works with MetaTrader 4 and 5. The Retail Hub page says brokers can "establish connections to your customers via front-end trading platforms including MetaTrader 4/5 for the receipt and delivery of quotes and trades" (Retail Brokers page, accessed 8 October 2026).
- oneZero is a technology provider, not a liquidity provider. Its site footer states that oneZero "is not a broker, and does not act as a trading principal". The homepage adds that the company is "liquidity neutral and independent".
For scale, oneZero's homepage states that its technology handles "$250B+ ADV, 14 million transactions and 400 billion quotes per day", and its company page (accessed 8 October 2026) states it was founded in 2009 and serves 250+ customers. On 6 October 2026 oneZero announced that it had been named World's Best FX Trading Solution in the Euromoney FX Awards 2026 for the third consecutive year.
FXSUPPORT is an independent technical support company. We are not affiliated with MetaQuotes Ltd. or with oneZero. oneZero is one of the technologies we work with alongside PrimeXM XCore, Match-Trade and FIX API connections.
oneZero Hub vs oneZero bridge: what the terms mean
"oneZero bridge" is the name brokers commonly use for the MetaTrader connection to the oneZero Hub. Technically the Hub is the aggregation and risk engine, and the bridge is the component that carries quotes and orders between MT4/MT5 and the Hub.
The terms are used loosely, so separate them before you talk to vendors:
| Term | What it does | Where it runs |
|---|---|---|
| oneZero Hub (Retail or Institutional) | Aggregation, pricing and spread controls, warehousing, margin engine, hedging and order routing | oneZero's dedicated hosted instance (NY4, LD4 or TY3 co-location options) |
| MetaTrader bridge / gateway | Sends prices into MT4/MT5 and passes client orders and executions between the platform and the Hub | Connected to your MT4/MT5 trade server |
| MT5 gateway (MetaQuotes term) | MetaQuotes describes a gateway as "a small plug-in for MetaTrader 5"; a Gateway API is included for building gateways | MT5 server side |
| oneZero EcoSystem | Network where brokers, banks and LPs connect for liquidity distribution and partner services | oneZero's network |
| oneZero Data Source | Cloud business intelligence on your Hub's quote and trade data, plus regulatory reporting connections | oneZero cloud |
oneZero has supported MetaTrader for many years. In a news post dated 18 May 2018 it announced "an improved MetaTrader 5 gateway featuring Direct Market Access capabilities". In June 2019 it released Liquidity Hub 8.0 with "enhancements to MetaTrader Order Mapping and Volume Bands". Earlier, on 1 August 2016, MetaQuotes and oneZero announced an Interactive Brokers gateway for MT5 "available through the oneZero Hub product" (metatrader5.com news 1364).
Some third-party bridges can also connect to oneZero. Brokeree, for example, documents a route in which the broker receives a personal FIX session from oneZero and Brokeree's Liquidity Bridge connects MT4/MT5 to that session. Which route suits you depends on your licence, your existing bridge and your risk model. Our forex bridge solutions page compares bridge types in more detail.
How a oneZero integration with MT4/MT5 is structured
A typical setup has four layers: client terminals, your MetaTrader server, the oneZero Hub, and the liquidity providers. Prices flow up from the LPs to the platform, and client orders flow down to be filled, hedged or warehoused under your rules.
Clients (MT4/MT5 desktop, web, mobile)
|
Your MT4 or MT5 trade server
(groups, symbols, swaps, margin)
|
MetaTrader bridge / gateway
|
oneZero Hub (dedicated hosted instance)
aggregation - markups - warehouse - hedging
|
Liquidity providers (via EcoSystem / FIX)
The Retail Hub page lists the main functions that you configure in the Hub: "pricing and risk management, aggregation, warehousing, market access, price distribution", together with Warehouse Controls, a Margin Engine, Risk Management, Aggregation and Pricing & Spread Controls.
Your MetaTrader server still holds the client-facing setup: account groups, symbol specifications, trading sessions, swaps, margin settings and plugins. In our experience, many go-live problems come from mismatches between those MetaTrader settings and the Hub settings, not from the Hub itself. Typical examples: a contract size that differs between MT5 and the Hub, a session open in MT4 but closed at the LP, or a group routed to the wrong book.
MetaQuotes states that "the MetaTrader 4 trading platform licenses are no longer available for purchase", so new brokers launch on MT5. If you plan to move, read our MT4 to MT5 migration guide before you design the oneZero routing.
Who does what in a oneZero Hub project
oneZero hosts and supports the Hub, the broker owns the commercial and risk decisions, and a support provider such as FXSUPPORT handles the MetaTrader configuration, testing and day-to-day monitoring. Agree this split at the start.
| Task | oneZero | Broker | FXSUPPORT (if engaged) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hub hosting, upgrades and vendor support | Yes | — | Raises and tracks tickets with the vendor on your behalf |
| Hub package and contract | Yes | Yes | Technical input only |
| LP agreements and credit lines | — | Yes | Technical checklist for each LP |
| Symbol mapping, markups, routing rules | Configured in the Hub | Decides the rules | Builds and checks the MT side; helps you write up the rules |
| MT4/MT5 groups, symbols, sessions, swaps | — | Approves | Configures and documents |
| Testing before go-live | Hub side | Signs off | End-to-end tests from terminal to LP |
| Ongoing monitoring and reports | Hub health | Dealing decisions | MT logs, connection checks, end-of-day reports |
oneZero also sells its own MetaTrader services. Its Retail Brokers page describes "MetaTrader Platform Services" for daily operations support and "MetaTrader Server Hosting" packages. You can use those, or keep MetaTrader administration with an independent team. An independent team is useful when you also run a CRM, MAM/PAMM or a second bridge and want one team covering the whole stack.
Step-by-step: integrating oneZero Hub with MT4 or MT5
The integration runs in seven stages, from scoping to live monitoring. The order below is the one we use. The duration depends mainly on how quickly vendor onboarding and LP contracts are completed, since FXSUPPORT does not control those.
- Assess the current setup. We review your MT4/MT5 servers, plugins, groups, symbol list, existing bridge (if any) and risk model, and note what must change.
- Agree the target design. Which LPs, which symbols, which client groups are A-book, B-book or hybrid, markups per group, and failover rules. This becomes the configuration document.
- Vendor and LP onboarding. You sign with oneZero and your LPs. oneZero provisions the hosted Hub; each LP issues connection details.
- Connect MetaTrader to the Hub. We prepare the MT server side: network access, the bridge or gateway connection, symbol mapping and order mapping, trading sessions and DST/holiday schedules.
- Test on demo, then on a restricted live group. Quotes, every order type, partial fills, rejects, stop-outs, swaps, session breaks and LP disconnects (see the checklist below).
- Controlled go-live. Move client groups in stages, watch execution and logs closely, and keep a rollback path to the previous routing.
- Monitor and optimise. Daily checks, end-of-day reports, LP performance reviews with your dealing team, and changes to routing rules as flow changes.
For a standard setup with a small LP list and clear routing rules, our own work on the MetaTrader side is typically scoped at two to four weeks once vendor and LP access is in place. Multi-server environments, both MT4 and MT5, or complex A-book/B-book rules take longer. We give a firm plan after the technical review.
Go-live test checklist for a oneZero bridge
Test every Hub rule end to end before real client money moves through it. These are the tests we run from the MetaTrader terminal through the Hub to the LP and back.
| Area | What we check | Typical failure it catches |
|---|---|---|
| Quotes | Every symbol streams; digits, spread and markup match the group setting | Wrong digits or contract size after symbol mapping |
| Market orders | Fills, partial fills, requotes or rejects are reflected correctly in MT | Order stuck "in process" or a position opened without a hedge |
| Pending orders and SL/TP | Trigger and execution path for each order type in use | Pending orders filled at a stale price |
| A-book / B-book routing | Each group goes to the correct book or Portfolio | A test group warehoused when it should be hedged |
| Sessions and holidays | MT sessions match LP sessions, including DST changes | Clients can trade while the LP is closed |
| Swaps and rollover | Swap values and triple-swap day are consistent | Swap charged twice or not at all |
| Disconnect and failover | Behaviour when one LP, or the bridge, drops | Prices freeze with no alert to the dealing desk |
| Margin and stop-out | Stop-outs execute and hedge as designed | Stop-out closes the client but not the hedge |
| Reporting | Trades reconcile between MT, the Hub and the LP statement | Volume or P&L gaps found only at month end |
If something fails after launch, our forex server troubleshooting and MetaTrader common errors guides cover the most frequent server-side causes.
A-book, B-book and hybrid routing in oneZero Hub
Yes, oneZero Hub supports both external hedging and internalisation. The Retail Hub lists "warehousing" and Warehouse Controls among its features, and oneZero's Portfolios feature lets you split client flow into groups that are managed differently.
"Implement multiple real-time risk management strategies concurrently – one group can be internalized, while other groups are hedged smarter."— oneZero, Portfolios (accessed October 2026)
oneZero states that "one Portfolio is included; add more as you wish", that Portfolio tracking is included in its Data Source Insights Essentials package, and that Systematic Hedging and Settings Schedule are available for automation. Its Institutional Hub adds ESP and RFS protocols and an Algorithmic Pricing Module.
The Hub only carries out rules you define. Before configuration we help your dealing team write them down:
- which MT groups or account classes go to which book or Portfolio;
- exposure limits per symbol and when hedging starts;
- how toxic or latency-sensitive flow is identified and moved (we maintain toxic-flow lists as part of risk operations);
- what happens to open positions when a client is moved between books.
Routing models carry regulatory consequences that vary by jurisdiction. This page is general technical information, not legal advice; check your model with your compliance adviser.

oneZero Hub is one of several ways to connect MetaTrader to liquidity. The right choice depends on whether you need a full hosted risk engine, a lighter bridge, or MetaTrader 5's own aggregation. FXSUPPORT can configure and support the MetaTrader side of whichever option you choose.
| Option | What the vendor states | Fits when |
|---|---|---|
| oneZero Hub | SaaS price and risk management; dedicated hosted instance; MT4/5 connectivity; EcoSystem network of 200+ firms | You want aggregation, warehousing, hedging and analytics in one hosted system |
| MetaTrader 5 Ultency | MetaQuotes' built-in order matching and aggregation; native connectivity to more than 30 LPs | You run MT5 only and want aggregation inside the platform |
| Third-party bridge to a oneZero FIX session | Brokeree documents connecting its Liquidity Bridge to a FIX session issued by oneZero | You already run that bridge across several platforms |
| Other hubs and bridges | See PrimeXM XCore, Match-Trade and direct FIX API | Depends on LP, budget and platform mix |
Is oneZero or Integral "better" for MT4/MT5 bridge connectivity? No single answer fits every broker. Compare vendors on the points that affect your business: support for your platforms and asset classes, data-centre location relative to your MT servers and LPs, A-book/B-book and Portfolio features, reporting and data access, support hours, and contract terms.
What drives the cost of a oneZero Hub integration
oneZero does not publish a price list on onezero.com, and FXSUPPORT does not publish prices. Total cost depends on the Hub package, infrastructure, number of LPs and servers, and how much ongoing support you need.
oneZero's Retail Brokers page says it offers "different packages to suit all broker types, from start-ups to enterprise grade brokers", with the option to upgrade as the business grows. When you budget, separate these items:
Vendor fees
Hub package, extra Portfolios, Data Source analytics packages and any oneZero hosting or platform services. Quoted by oneZero.
Liquidity
LP commissions, minimum deposits or credit arrangements. Agreed with each LP.
Infrastructure
MT server hosting close to the Hub's data centre, cross-connects and backups. See MetaTrader server hosting.
Integration work
Configuration, symbol mapping, testing and migration of client groups. Quoted by FXSUPPORT after a review.
Ongoing operations
Monitoring, end-of-day reports, rule changes and vendor ticket handling. See MetaTrader support.
Platform licence
MT5 licences from MetaQuotes come in Entry (1,000), Standard (25,000) and Enterprise (200,000) real-account tiers.
Running oneZero after go-live: monitoring and support
A oneZero deployment needs continuous attention after launch: LP connections drop, sessions change with daylight saving time, new symbols are added and routing rules need updating as client flow changes. Ongoing support keeps the MetaTrader side and the Hub consistent.
oneZero states that its "global team of 30 engineers provides outstanding technical support 24 hours a day" for the Hub. FXSUPPORT covers the broker side of the connection. As part of our MetaTrader administration and risk operations services we provide:
- Connection and log monitoring on MT4/MT5 servers, with alerts when quotes stop or orders queue.
- Session and DST/holiday schedule checks so MetaTrader sessions match LP trading hours.
- End-of-day and evening reports, including exposure and reconciliation between MT and Hub data.
- Toxic-flow lists to support your dealing desk's routing decisions.
- Vendor coordination: we open and follow tickets with oneZero, MetaQuotes and your LPs so your team does not have to.
Our infrastructure runs on servers in the UK and the Netherlands with a 99.9% uptime target. If you also need a CRM, MAM/PAMM or custom server plugins around the bridge, see forex CRM solutions, MAM/PAMM setup and MetaTrader plugin development.
What to prepare before you contact oneZero or FXSUPPORT
A short preparation pack lets vendors and integrators give you an accurate plan and quote. Collect the following before your first call:
- Platform details: MT4, MT5 or both; build numbers; number of trade servers; where they are hosted.
- Symbol list with contract sizes, digits and trading sessions, and the LP symbol names if you already have them.
- LP list, with the status of each agreement and connection details.
- Routing model: which groups are A-book, B-book or hybrid, and your exposure limits.
- Existing plugins and bridges that touch order flow, such as risk, copy-trading or MAM/PAMM plugins.
- Reporting needs: internal reports, LP reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
- Target go-live date and who signs off on testing.
